Reflections

If on reflection we could see ourselves as other people do,
This world would be a better place, troubles would be few,
The trials, tribulations, past and gone,
The worries, wars and woe,
Each thinks our plight the greastest,
Forgiving not the foe,
But, look around you, cast a glance,
For once these steps you trod,
Stop, reflect, this could be you,
But for the grace of god.
